Our story

An embryologist sees things couples rarely see: the eggs, the sperm, the embryos. They also see how little of it is explained to the people it matters to most.

Shrushti Kanani works as an embryologist at an IVF centre in Mumbai. She handles semen analysis, sperm preparation, oocyte retrieval, embryo grading, vitrification and embryo loading. She also takes patient histories and counsels couples.

That mix of lab work and patient care is the idea behind Embrya. Couples deserve someone who can explain what is happening in the lab, in their own language, with time to listen. Her background in zoology, endocrinology and lab medicine, along with her published research, means the guidance rests on solid science.
